#Ham4Ham – Happy Trails to Lin, Phillipa and Leslie!

As you all know, Lin-Manuel Miranda (Alexander Hamilton), Phillipa Soo (Eliza Schuyler Hamilton) and Leslie Odom Jr. (Aaron Burr) will all be leaving the hit musical “Hamilton” on July 9. We’re all sad about them leaving but, before their final show, they decided to do one last Ham4Ham all together.

In this video, Lin-Manuel Miranda will be reading a letter Alexander Hamilton wrote to Eliza before they got married. Also, Phillipa Soo and Leslie Odom Jr. join him — and the audience — as they sing a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Trails.”

For all you Hamilton fans, prepare a tissue box beside you because this is gonna be a very sad video.

‘She Loves Me’ will be the first Broadway show to be live streamed

I’m sure we’re all sad that “She Loves Me” is closing on Broadway, but fortunately, BroadwayHD and Roundabout Theatre Company have announced that the Tony Award-winning show will be streamed online.

This event will be the first time that a Broadway show will be broadcasted online. The Musical, She Loves Me, follows two parfumerie clerks, Amalia and Georg, who aren’t exactly the best of friends. Only to find out that they are actually anonymous pen pals who have been falling in love with each other.

BroadwayHD will broadcast it live on June 30 at 8pm ET. Viewers will have to pay $9.99 to watch the show but those who have annual subscriptions for the website can access it for free.

2016 Tony Awards

History is definitely happening in Manhattan!

Hamilton won 11 Tonys, including Best Musical, out of their record-breaking 16 nominations. Sadly, they fell short of tying with The Producers’ record of 12, but hey did win more than Billy Elliot’s record of 12.

Also, for the first time in Tony history, the four major categories for actors in musicals were won by people of color! Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr., Renée Elise Goldsberry and Daveed Diggs showed us that Broadway is starting to have more diversity.

Watch Barbra Streisand, Anne Hathaway and Daisy Ridley sing “At The Ballet”

These 3 amazing women in one song?! What more can you ask for?

Last June 9, Barbra Streisand released a new song from her upcoming album, Encore: Movie Partners Sing Broadway. She sings “At The Ballet”, from the hit musical A Chorus Line, with Oscar winner Anne Hathaway and Star Wars actress Daisy Ridley. The following day, she added a new video of the trio recording the song with some interviews from them as well.

Listen to their beautiful rendition of this classic song below.
